Widely regarded as one of the most influential sci-fi writers of all time, the late Philip K. Dick (*Insert Despicable me giggle here) penned a surplus o thought provoking and accessible tales of futuristic societies, something that Hollywood has tapped into numerous times. One of the better Dick (*Insert Despicable Me giggle here) adaptations is Steven Spielberg's Minority Report, a star-heavy blockbuster that doesn't skimp out on intelligence or progressive visuals.
Tom Cruise leads this action/thriller where in the future police can arrest criminals before they ever commit any offenses!! operating as the thought police (and I thought bouncers where bad), the coppers have ways of catching potential deviants in the act of mental deliberation!!
The best moments in Minority Report show the officers crashing through ceilings unannounced and apprehending people who haven't done anything wrong. Imagine armed enforcers smashing through the walls of your living room every time you dream up another way of killing Robin Van Persi (Yes, I am an Arsenal Fan... yes I am bitter) unpleasant.. Right!!
Exceptional Sci fi stuff
