The Phantom of the Opera

Deformed since birth, a bitter man known only as the Phantom lives in the sewers underneath the Paris Opera House. He falls in love with the obscure chorus singer Christine, and privately tutors her while terrorizing the rest of the opera house and demanding Christine be given lead roles. Things get worse when Christine meets back up with her childhood acquaintance Raoul and the two fall in love

If you have been to see the live show, you may not find this production as exciting. If you like musicals you will like Phantom, it is a modern classic. I dont like musicals and I dont like this one. There is good production value and a well made film, however not one that i will watch again.

I must admit I would NEVER have watched an opera if it wasn't for my brother! This film is definitely in my top 5, Gerard Butler who plays the phantom is fantastic, the scenes are amazingly done and most of all the music is outstanding!! Loved it that much I went with my best mate to watch it at mk theatre!! A must watch!
